Syrian football team beats China 1-0
Beijing – Syria’s national football team beat its Chinese counterpart 1-0 in the match held on Thursday in China within the 3rd round of the final stage of world cup qualification for Russia 2018.
This is the first winning of the Syrian national team, after the loss to Uzbekistan 0-1 and the draw against South Korea 0-0.
Our team ranked the fourth place in the group with 4 points, China freezes at one point in the fifth place, and Qatar came in the bottom of the group after losing 2-3 to South Korea which tops the group with 7 points.
Mahmoud al-Mawas scored for Syria at the 55th minute of the game.
The Syrian team will meet Qatar next Tuesday.
