Syrian Flag Hoisted in Quneitra City to Declare It Free of Terrorism

QUNEITRA, (ST)- The Syrian flag was hoisted on Friday over the Tahirir (Liberation) Square in the Syrian city of Quneitra to declare the city free of terrorism.

SANA reporter in Quneitra said that the Syrian flag was hoisted today at the city’s Tahriri Square after units of the Syrian Arab army has secured the city of Quneitra, ended terrorism presence there and removed mines and explosive devices left by the terrorists before being expelled from the area.

 A large number of locals and many dignitaries of the city’s were present when army personnel hoisted the flag.

The locals stressed their support for the army in its war on terrorism until every inch of Syria is liberated from terrorism and normal life is restored to citizens following years of suffering from the terrorist groups which wrecked havoc and terrorized the citizens in the city to serve the interest of the Israeli enemy which provides different forms of support to terrorists.
