SYDNEY, DEC.13, (ST)-The Australian Businessmen of Syrian origin announced on Monday the founding of the Syrian-Australian Business Council that aims to create an incubator for Syrian economic activities in Australia, communicate with the homeland and to offer what is possible during the current circumstances that the country is going through.
In a statement to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), the chairman of the council Ali Joreyeh said: “ The council obtained official approval from the Australian government and it works on finding an incubator for economic activities in cooperation with the government of Australia.”
He added that the council seeks to develop cooperation relation with Syria in economic fields, hoping that a similar council will be formed in Syria to establish partnerships between the businessmen of the two countries and to take part in the rebuilding process.
