Syrian expatriates condemn US-led coalition’s aggression on Syrian army position

The Forum for Syria, the Syrian Community in Hungary, the Expatriates Association and Syrian Students in Romania have condemned the US-led coalition’s aggression on a Syrian army position in Der Ezzour province.

The Forum and the community in Hungary said in a statement released yesterday that the aggression is conclusive evidence of the United States’ unwillingness to end the crisis in Syria.

“The United States and its allies seek to prolong the crisis in order to serve Israel and the world Zionism,” the statement asserted, calling on all international organizations that claim defending human rights to denounce the blatant aggression and to stand by Syria against terrorism as well as to respect the country’s sovereignty.

The Syrian expatriates and students in Romania described the aggression as a dangerous development in supporting the ISIS directly.

Dangerous development

” America’s blatant aggression has started since the beginning of the terror war on Syria through providing financial, logistical and diplomatic support to terrorists. But, the recent aggression on a Syrian army positions in Der Ezzour is a dangerous development as it was carried out in coordination with ISIS terrorists,” they said.

The expatriates and students pointed out that such coward acts are desperate attempts to stop the Syrian army’s successive victories against terrorist organizations and to undermine Syria’s steadfastness.

Two days ago, The US-led coalition airstrikes bombed one of the Syrian army’s positions at al-Tharda Mountain on the outskirts of the Der Ezzour Airport, killing and wounding dozens of military personnel.

The attack also caused material damage to military equipment and paved the way for the ISIS terrorists to attack and capture the strategic position, according to the General Command of the Army and Armed Forces.

But the position was recaptured by Syrian army units after a precise military operation against ISIS terrorists there.

Since 2011, a foreign-backed terror war have been waged against Syria targeting its army, people, civilization and infrastructures in accordance with US-Zionist plot that aims to fragment the region and to have hegemony over its wealth.
