Syrian Expatriates Angry over U.S. Blatant Aggression on Their Homeland

Syrian community and students in Cuba have expressed their anger over the US blatant aggression on Syria, one day after Deputy Minister of Expatriates and Foreign Affairs  Ayman Susan told Syrian community in Belgium that US policy is the main cause of instability in the world.

According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), the Syrian community and students in Cuba said in a statement released Tuesday that the aggression, which contradicts international law and UN Charter, unmasks the ugly face of America as a leader of new colonialism.

“Syria is being targeted because it is the last bastion of Arab resistance ,” the statement asserted, adding that serious confrontation of terrorism till the liberation of every inch in Syria from Wahabbi terrorists is the suitable retaliation for these crimes.

“Throughout history, Syria has defeated all forms of aggression and colonialism. And now it is able to defeat the terrorism of America and Israel,” the statement said, affirming  that the Syrian community and students in Cuba stand by the Syria Arab army and its wise leadership in fighting terrorism.

US policy responsible for regional instability

The stances of the Syrian communities towards homeland were highly appreciated by Deputy Minister of Expatriates and Foreign Affairs  Ayman Susan, who  met yesterday Syrian community in Belgium and told them that expatriates play pivotal role in confronting terror aggression and in reconstruction process.

“The Syrian people and army, under leadership of President Bashar al-Assad, insist on eradicating terrorism and protecting Syria’s unity and independence,” Susan said, adding that only the Syrian people decide the future of Syria and they do not allow anyone to intervene in their internal affairs.

“The US aggression proves once again connection between America and terrorist organizations,” he stressed, pointing out that the US policy is the main cause of instability in the world in general and in the Arab region in particular.

“There must be a new world order respecting countries’ sovereignty and international stability,” Susan concluded.

On their part, the expatriates expressed their pride in the steadfastness of Syrian people and in the heroism of Syrian army in confronting terrorism. They asserted their determination to continue supporting the homeland’s steadfastness till stability and peace are restored to it.
