The Syrian equestrian Aya Hamsho has qualified for participating in the 2022 Youth Jumping Competition of the International Federation for Equestrian Sports (FEI) which is due to be held in Germany this June.
Rider Hamsho qualified alongside 8 other equestrians from Asian countries after achieving good results at the recent international championships held in the United Arab Emirates.
Hamsho is currently taking part in the Al-Shiraa International Horse Jumping Show in Abu Dhabi, UAE. During the second day of this competition Hamsho ranked third in a match in which her horse jumped hurdles of 130 cm height.
Earlier this month, Hamsho took part in the international championship of the Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy ( FBMA ), held also in the UAE, and won the first position after a jump of 120 cm height.
