Syrian Engineer Invents the Thinnest Carbon Super-Phone

Syrian Engineer Firas Khalifeh and his colleague Jorge Ries Martins have invented the thinnest smartphone in the world made of carbon, according to social media.

The weight of the mobile device is 107 grams, while its thickness is just 4.6 mm.

Carbon is the first Smartphone ever made of carbon-fiber and other high-tech material composites that makes it unbelievably thin, feather light and mighty strong.

When you hold the world’s thinnest and lightest super phone for the first time, things change for good. It is a great challenge and a very exciting process to design such super-phone.

Carbon-fiber and Kevlar, are two extreme composites found in Carbon, capable of the highest strength and stiffness way beyond common aluminum or plastic smart phones.

Carbon composite fabrics are crafted by hand, then shaped with high pressure steel molds of more than 25 pieces which are locked and baked with microscopic precision.

The characteristics of the mobile are:

DECA-CORE 10 CORES PROCESSOR

5.1″ AMOLED SCREEN

128 GB OF MEMORY

16 MP BACK CAMERA / 5 MP FRONT CAMERA

4 GB OF RAM.

It is worth mentioning that Firas Khalifeh is an IT engineer graduated from the Arab International University in Syria. He received several world awards, most recently the award of the best e-trade project during ‘Mobile World Congress 2016’ held in Spain.
