Syrian doctors visit Moscow to exchange scientific experiences with their Russian colleagues

A delegation of Syrian doctors from Al-Hosn Patriarchal Hospital began a visit to the Russian capital, Moscow, with the aim of exchanging experiences with their Russian colleagues and learning about the latest scientific achievements in treatment methods. The visit came at the invitation of the Russian medical authorities and the Russian Orthodox Church.

The delegation of ten specialized doctors visited St. Alexei Hospital in Moscow, which is the largest multi-specialty medical institution affiliated with the Russian Orthodox Church, where the Syrian doctors toured the work of the medical staff and the hospital’s techniques.

For his part, the director of Al-Hosn Patriarchal hospital, Khaled Al-Yazji, told Russian media, “We are very happy that we are now in Russia and have a unique opportunity to exchange experiences with Russian colleagues. We also express our deep gratitude to Russian President Vladimir Putin and to Patriarch Kirill, head of the Russian Orthodox Church and the Russian Ministry of Defense, who organized this trip under the current difficult circumstances.”
