Syrian Delegation in Geneva: the Syrian people can not accept any political solution does not heal the wounds

Geneva,(ST)_ In the joint session with the coalition delegation, in the presence of UN envoy to Syria Lakhdar Brahimi the Syrian delegation succeeded in the imposition of anti-terrorism clause, according to Geneva 1 statement

According to sources close to the Syrian delegation, the Coalition delegation tried to start talking about the transitional government without agreement on any item in the fight against terrorism, but that the Syrian delegation insisted on anti-terrorism clause first, according to a Geneva statement.

The official delegation began the session by debating the anti-terrorism clause, calling for a joint position concerning the earlier proposed statement on fighting terrorism.

The Syrian delegation stressed during the joint session that the Syrian people can not accept any political solution that does not heal the wounds and restore peace and safety.

The delegation stressed that it can not be moved to any other item before the completion of the counter-terrorism item, and agreeing the terms of applying the submitted draft statement, adding that in response to the aspirations of the Syrian people to the return of security, safety and stability, everyone was invited to stand up to due responsibility against terrorism.

The official delegation demanded the other party to live up to the Higher National ceiling of the People in Syria in the fight against terrorism, noting that Syrian citizens want to know if the other party wants to fight terrorism, or will remain on its current policy.

The Syrian delegation indicated that it had to responded to the inaccuracies cited by the other delegation yesterday in documents, figures and data that show the crimes of terrorists and their destruction of the infrastructure in Syria.
