The National Union of Syrian Students (NUSS) has organized an activity titled “Syrian Day” in Prague, capital of Czech Republic, with the participation of Syrian, Czech and foreign students.

The activity included a documentary  about Syria’s history, civilization and culture and about co-existence among all components of Syrian community, according to the official news agency (SANA).

The agency reported Sunday that the participating Syrian students stressed during the activity their determination to go ahead with explaining the reality of events taking place in Syria and confronting terrorism till achieving  victory.

The students confirmed that silence of international community is behind the spread of terrorism.

On their part, Czech students affirmed their solidarity with the Syrian people in confronting terrorism, expressing confidence that Syria will triumph no matter how long it takes.

First Secretary in the Syrian Embassy in Prague Mrs. Manal Ein Malak highly appreciated Syrian students’ role in unveiling the reality of crisis in the homeland, referring to crimes perpetrated by terrorist organizations and that targeted all walks of life.

“The terrorist organizations have tried to erase Syria’s culture and to change its national stances,” she added.

Syria’s deep-rooted civilization could not be erased by terrorist organizations, Dean of Czech Faculty of Agricultural Sciences Yan Banot said, praising the activity held by the NUSS.
