Syrian Community in Spain Assert Support for Homeland against Terrorism

MADRID, (ST) _ Members of the Syrian community in Spain confirmed their stand with homeland Syria and the Syrian army against terrorism and its various affiliated criminal organizations.

In a ceremony in solidarity with the Syrian people, held by the Syrian – Spanish businessmen Association in Marbella city, members of the community commended heroism mounted by the Syrian army, the brave protectors of the homeland, and renewed loyalty to the wise leadership in Syria and President Bashar al-Assad against the global war on Syria.

They stressed that the Syrian expatriate in Spain was and will remain with the army and the people in order to liberate the land from the sinful hands of criminal gangs incitements, pledging to convey the reality of the barbaric war perpetrated by terrorist organizations in acts of killing, bloodshed, rape and systematic terrorism.

Chairman of the Syrian community in Spain Dr. Fawzi Alkanfani spoke about the suffering of the homeland Syria from criminal acts of sabotage by terrorist organizations,  including among others the destruction of infrastructure and public and private utilities and the bombing of government institutions and stealing laboratories and factories and selling them in the Turkish market.

Alkanfani called for lifting the unjust economic sanctions imposed by the European Union at the request of their masters in the US administration and the Arab “petro-dollar” countries.

The ceremony was attended by representatives of several Spanish economic and banking institutions and bodies, the Spanish Bar Association, media and political parties and many academics and university professors and members of the Syrian community in Spain.
