Syrian community in Oman on Evacuation Day: We will invest all capabilities to develop our homeland

Muscat, (ST) – The Syrian community in the Sultanate of Oman affirmed that it will harness all its capabilities and energies to serve the motherland, Syria, in order to develop it and enhance its status among the nations.

The Board of Directors of the Syrian Community Social Club indicated in a statement on the occasion of the seventy-eighth anniversary of Evacuation Day that the anniversary came at a time when the Syrian Arab Army is still fighting to defend our land and our people. “This army is confronting the fierce attack of the greedy colonial powers, and continuing to preserve the homeland’s soil and pride and striving to rebuild what was destroyed by the global war launched on our country”, the statement added.

The statement  also said: We, as Syrians, have the right to proudly celebrate our ancient history and to draw inspiration from our great values and heritage, the spirit of love, unity, and sacrifice for the sake of the homeland that unites us as one people in a homeland that we aspire to see always proud and prosperous.
