Syrian community in Bulgaria asserts U.S. Administration supports terrorism for strategic goals

The Syrian community in Bulgaria has described the US-led Coalition’s aggression on a Syrian army site in Der Ezzour as a ‘criminal act’.

It said in a written statement submitted to the United States embassy in Sofia that the U.S. proved again that it supports terrorism in order to realize its strategic goals depending on ways that violate the international law and charter.

“The huge number of displaced people and refugees is the natural result of the U.S. policies in the region and the economic sanctions imposed on the peoples in the region,” the statement added

It called on the U.S. Administration to reconsider the countless wars being waged by it all over the world under the pretext of ‘democracy and human rights’. “These wars have caused instability and painful tragedies,” the community affirmed.

‘Series of mistakes’

The members of the community appealed to the international community and the American people to condemn the foreign policy of the U.S. Administration and to hold it accountable for the ‘series of mistakes’ which became a commonplace for the U.S. Administration over the past years.

“These mistakes have proved that the U.S. administration is unable to consolidate peace and stability anywhere and they aim to create chaos that gives America an opportunity to compensate its economic and political losses,” the members said in the statement.
