Syrian community and students in Bulgaria organize a stand of mourning for the souls of the martyrs of the terrorist attack on the Military Academy

Sofia (ST): The Syrian Embassy in Sofia and the Bulgarian branch of the National Union of Syrian Students organized a stand of mourning for the souls of the martyrs of the terrorist attack that targeted the graduation ceremony of student officers of the Military College in Homs last Thursday.

The participants  raised national flags and banners commemorating the souls of the righteous martyrs, affirming their firm belief in the victory of the Syrian army and people under the leadership of President Bashar al-Assad.

The participants denounced the cowardly terrorist act carried out by countries hostile to Syria through their criminal tools on Syrian soil, wishing mercy for the souls of the martyrs, patience and solace for their families, and a speedy recovery for the wounded.

The Acting Chargé d’Affaires of the Syrian Embassy, Counselor Ali Makin, said in his speech: “We ask God to have mercy on the souls of the martyrs and wish a speedy recovery for the wounded,” stressing steadfastness in the face of terrorism until victory is achieved.

The stand included singing the national anthem and a minute of silence in honor of the souls of the martyrs.
