Syrian communities in Europe organize sit-in condemning US aggression on Syrian army position

Berlin – Representatives of the Syrian communities in a number of European states organized a sit-in in front of the US Embassy in the German capital of Berlin condemning the US act of aggression on a position of the Syrian Arab Army in Deir Ezzor province, SANA reported.

The participants, who carried the Syrian flag, stressed their support to the Syrian Arab Army in confronting terrorism for more than five years, expressing rejection of any military intervention that would be carried out without coordination with the Syrian government.

 

The participants renewed their standing by the Syrian people, army and leadership in confronting terrorism and their thanks to Russia and the Lebanese Resistance for supporting Syria.

Members of the Syrian communities in Italy, Romania and other European states participated in the sit-in.

On the 17th of September, US-led international coalition aircrafts targeted a Syrian Arab Army position in al-Tharda Mountain in the surroundings of Deir Ezzor Airport, causing casualties and destruction of equipment and clearly paved the way for ISIS terrorists to attack the position and take control of it.
