Syrian Communists : Supporting Terrorists violates the International Law

DAMASCUS, (ST)- ” Supporting the armed terrorist groups constitutes an aggression, according to the  International Law,” said the  Central Committee of the Syrian Communist Party (SCP)  ,  adding that this support contributes to the escalation  of terrorism in Syria.

In a plenary meeting chaired by its  secretary general, the SCP  said that  imperialist countries , Arab reactionaries in the Gulf and Erdogan ‘s government in Turkey continue their schemes against Syria, especially in the recent deployment  of Patriot Missiles on the Turkish border with Syria , in sheltering  terrorists bases and hosting  NATO ‘s main  intelligence center which coordinates  terrorists ‘ operations against Syria.

“Thanks to the heroism of the Syrian army in Damascus and Aleppo and other Syrian regions,  the terrorist groups could not  achieve its objectives, especially because  the Syrian people refused to provide haven or  incubate them, ” the SCP added.

The SCP central committee stressed that the prime duty of the Communists and all nationalists in Syria is to defend  Syria ‘s independence  and territorial integrity against all hatched  imperialist, Zionist, and Arab reactionary schemes .
