Syrian Commissions  and Palestinian factions: Al-Aqsa flood is the nation’s battle to defend the land and the sanctities

Syrian commissions and Palestinian factions in Damascus confirmed that the Al-Aqsa flood is the nation’s battle in defending the land and the holy sites, expressing pride for the people in occupied Palestine.

They said in a statement signed by the Palestinian resistance factions, the Al-Quds International Foundation – Syria, and the Syrian Arab Popular Committee to support the Palestinian people and resist the Zionist project: As we commemorate the 50th anniversary of the October Liberation War fought by the Syrian and Egyptian Arab armies where fighters from Arab countries participated in it, led by the people of Palestine in a battle the sinful occupiers  on Syrian soil committed a horrific crime targeting the students of the Military Academy in Homs, which has always been a source for ideological heroes defending the honor and dignity of this nation.

They added in the statement: The wait was not long, as on the next day, October 7, 2023, the world woke up to the miracle of the resistance heroes in Palestine, who had penetrated the enemy’s lines and clashed with them on the pure land of Palestine, which had been desecrated by the settlements and settlers, where they had killed and captured officers and sinful aggressors who had persecuted the Palestinian people in all their cities and villages in daily acts of aggression; this crossing was a continuation of the steadfastness of the Syrian people for more than a decade and their courageous defense of the identity and Arabism of Syria and Palestine and the Arabism of all Arabs.

The pointed out that belonging to the land, loving it, defending it, and martyrdom for it are not created by machines and equipment, but rather by ancient history and true and historical affiliation to geography and homelands, stressing the importance of the unity of the arenas, affirming that whoever confronts terrorism, occupation, and aggression in Syria is defending Palestine, because Palestine is the compass and because the integration and synergy between Members of the Axis of Resistance are a prerequisite for the final defeat of the Zionist enemy and the forces supporting it and for defending the right of our peoples to sovereignty, independence, freedom, dignity and self-determination.
