Citizens of Golan: The Syrian army is the only hope to achieve victory over Israeli occupation

OCCUPIED GOLAN, Aug.1, (ST)- -On the occasion of the 77th anniversary of the foundation of the Syrian Arab Army, Syrian citizens in the occupied Syrian Golan have asserted that the army that fought terrorism and its agents on the entire Syrian geography is the only hope to achieve victory in the battle against the Israeli occupation.

“This anniversary comes today while Syria is recovering and achieving victory over terrorism thanks to the sacrifices of our army,” Golan’s citizens said in a statement published by tge Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) on Monday.

During the evacuation battles to gain independence from the French occupation, Golan has offered 159 martyrs in addition to scores others against the Israeli occupation.

The citizens of the Golan are still facing Judaizing colonial occupation schemes, the most recent of which is the wind turbine scheme, which aims to seize their lands and displace them from their homes.
