BERLIN, (ST)_The Syrian community in Germany organized on Thursday a protest outside the Syrian embassy in Berlin to condemn the German government’s decision of banning Syrian from practicing their constitutional right of voting in presidential elections held today.
The protesters asserted their rejection of the German government’s violation of the legal rights of the Syrians in Germany. They reiterated their adherence to their national principles and Syria’s sovereignty, rejecting intervention in their homeland’s internal affairs.
