Syrian children participate in the 3rd session of the Arab Child Parliament in Sharjah

With the participation of a number of martyrs’ sons and daughters, the activities of the third session of the Arab Child Parliament began in the Emirate of Sharjah in the UAE under the entitle” Artificial Intelligence in the Eyes of the Arab Children”.

Delegations from 19 Arab countries, 4 children from each country accompanied by a supervisor, participate in the organized events and programs. The activities include field visits and workshops, in addition to preparations for holding the plenary session which is one of the most prominent events on the agenda.

These workshops and programs come within the framework of a comprehensive vision that aims to enhance the role of Arab children in shaping the future and encourage them to participate effectively in the issues of their societies.

The Arab Parliament for Children is one of the institutions of the League of Arab States, and its permanent headquarter is in the Emirate of Sharjah.

The Syrian delegation consists of children Leen Issa from Dar Al-Aman for Martyrs’ Children, as well as Yamen Al-Mousa, Maha Shaheen, and Haider Baddour from the Schools for the Sons and Daughters of Martyrs. The delegation is supervised by the Director of Public Relations at the Syrian Commission for Family and Population Affairs.
