Syrian champion of the Reading Challenge initiative participates in the final qualifiers at the Arab level virtually

Student Nima Rajoub, the champion of the Arab Reading Challenge initiative at the level of Syria, participated today in the final qualifiers for the initiative, which is being held at the level of the Arab world virtually.

The initiative is organized by the United Arab Emirates in its seventh season and Syria will participate for the second time, through the student Rajoub from the Charity School in Homs, after she won first place in the initiative’s qualifiers locally, which received the participation of 375,000 students, male and female, from 2,700 schools from all governorates

General Coordinator of the Reading Challenge Initiative in Syria Ali Al-Abbas stated that the tests today were conducted virtually by a judging committee present in the Emirates

He hoped to announce the victory of the student Rajoub in first place, like the child Sham Bakour, in the closing ceremony at the end of next month with the participation of a delegation from Syria

Nima Rajoub expressed her pride in participating in this initiative, which increased her self-confidence and made her oratory skills in front of the public.

Director of Homs Education, Walid Marai, pointed to the talents and creative energies possessed by the governorate’s students, considering that the student Rajoub’s abilities in reading, public speaking, and writing are the result of the accumulation of her experiences and knowledge, in addition to the care and attention of the family and the school.

The student, Nima Rajoub, was crowned first place in Syria in the seventh session of the reading challenge on August 3, during a closing ceremony organized by the Ministry of Education at the Al-Assad House for Culture and Arts in Damascus.
