Syrian cabinet approves a set of measures to guarantee the continuity of pharmaceutical industries

DAMASCUS, (ST)_The Syrian cabinet has approved a set of measures to guarantee the continuity of pharmaceutical industries in the country.

The measures included financing the value of importing the raw materials of pharmaceutical industries through the Central Bank of Syria on the basis of the exchange rate 700 Syrian Pound/ US Dollar with the aim of meeting the need of local market.

The cabinet agreed on the continuity of the mechanism of pricing medicines by Health Ministry. It also decided to provide public hospitals and health centers with medicine  from all pharmaceutical companies.
