Syrian Businessman Mazen al- Tarazi Launched “Returning to Syria” Campaign

DAMASCUS, (ST) _ Under the title ” Returning to our homeland Syria, the first beloved,” the Syrian businessman expatriate in Kuwait, Mazen al- Tarazi launched a worldwide campaign including an open invitation for young Syrian expatriates to return to the mother of Syria and contribute to its reconstruction.

In a statement to SANA, Tarazi confirmed “that he will bear the travel cost for any young Syrian returning, wherever he resides,” pointing out that the aim of the campaign is to help young Syrians who are unable to return and suffer from difficult conditions abroad and wish to return back home to have a role in its reconstruction.

Tarazi pointed out that the number of requests to return has so far until last night reached 225 including 17 from Sweden, 110 from Cairo, 38 from Sudan, 22 from Kuwait, 3 from the USA, 9 from the Sultanate of Oman, 16 from the UAE, 7 from Qatar and 3 of Bahrain, stressing that during 24 hours Tickets will be available for them.

The Syrian businessman explained that the person wishing to return has just to send a copy of his passport and his address in the country where he lives, and within 48 hours, an electronic ticket will be sent for him at the email address of the campaign “Returning to Syria,” expecting an increase in the number of persons who wish to return to Syria, very soon.

Noteworthy, the Syrian businessman has carried several charitable activities since the beginning of the crisis in Syria, including providing financial assistance to the families of the martyrs and wounded of the Syrian army and civilians who have been subjected to terrorist bombings,contributed to the restoration of homes of several citizens who have been affected by terrorist acts, provided ambulances and medical supplies to government hospitals, renovated schools in Homs and Damascus suburbs and honored children of martyrs of the General Authority for Schools of martyrs children.
