Syrian boxing team and Syrian Ghazal win 2 golds and silver medals in Mediterranean Games

Madrid – the Syrian boxing team wins gold and silver medals in Mediterranean Games Tarragona 2018 currently being held in Spain.

Syrian boxer Ahmad Ghossoun 75kg category won the gold medal after beating the Italian boxer Salvatore Cavallaro in the final match, while Syrian boxer Hussein Al Masri 52kg won the  silver medal after losing in the final match against Gabriel Escobar Mascunano from Spain.

In the high jump competition, Syrian athlete Majd Eddin Ghazal won the gold medal after he jumped for a height of 228 cm within 2018 Mediterranean Games currently held in Tarragona, Spain.
