Syrian border guards wipe out several groups of terrorists

Syrian border guards wiped out several groups of terrorists who tried to sneak into Syria from the neighbouring Lebanon last night.

The servicemen engaged the terrorists  in the areas of Kharmoush, Al-Armouta, Shakira and Al-Mejbel.

The well-armed extremists tried to force their way into the city of Tell-Kalakh, 20 kilometres away from Homs, where Syrian troops are engaged in special operations against rebel fighters. The extremists also attacked an army checkpoint near the Kumar Bridge across the Al-Kabir River, but were beaten back,according to Voice of Russia, TASS

The extremists suffered losses in the exchange of fire and retreated to Lebanon.
