Minsk (ST) _ A protocol of understanding was cosigned on Sunday by the Ministry of Health and Belorussia Bill Med Priparat company provides for exporting cancer drugs to Syria, at a value of USD 100 thousand for each type .
In a statement, Minister of Health, Dr. Saad Naef said that signing the Protocol falls within the ministry’s keenness to strengthen Syrian- Belarusian health cooperation .
The Minister continued that this cooperation will be enhanced after restoring Syria ‘s stability in the near future , when Syrian becomes an essential party in exporting medicines to federal Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan.
He called on drug manufacturers in Syria “to establish a broader partnerships with the Belarusian side and create new markets for the Syrian pharmaceutical product” and open new horizons for joint health cooperation as a means of attracting investment.
The signed protocol came within the visit of a health ministry delegation to Belarusian , headed by Deputy Minister of Health to hold talks on mutual recognition of registration of drugs, medical devices , laboratory and pharmaceutical equipment, and exporting Belarusian medicines and medical equipment to Syria.
