Syrian-Azerbaijani talks to enhance cooperation in the educational field

Minister of Education Dr. Mohammed Abdul Rahman Turko discussed with the Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Damascus, Alnur Shah Huseynov, future prospects for cooperation and the status of the educational process in Syria, particularly vocational education.

During the meeting, held at the Ministry building in Damascus, the two sides discussed several topics, most notably the status of vocational education, future plans for its development, and providing effective connections between students and the labor market, tailored to their specializations and skills.

The two sides also reviewed the needs necessary to support vocational education, including the necessary supplies and equipment for schools, as well as the possibility of benefiting from Azerbaijan’s experience in the field of vocational education.

They emphasized the importance of cooperation between the two countries in promoting and developing vocational education, which will contribute to building a better future for students in Syria.
