Syrian artist defies all circumstances to achieve his dream

Art is the gateway to success for any person. Many people have succeeded at world level just by believing in their dream without drawing attention to the difficulties or pressures.

This is what Mohamed Hassan did in the field of painting and was able to achieve his dream and defy all circumstances.

The “Syriatimes” e-newspaper interviewed the painter Mohamed Hassan, who spoke about his talent and how he started his journey in this field.

” My talent in drawing emerged during the preparation for the admission examination for architecture engineering and I worked on developing it with the help of my relatives at the College of Fine Arts, who had the greatest role in encouraging me and devloping my talent and continuing my way to achieve my  dream and to be among the distinguished,” Hassan said.

He added that he participated in several exhibitions and focused on drawings portraiture and simple sketches in addition to nature.

“I teach my students the techniques of drawing faces by shading or by drawing with colors of all kinds. Some of my students participated in many exhibitions and I am proud of their work and their amazing achievements,” Hassan clarified.

He believes that the time that is needed to complete a painting depends on the situation and the attractiveness of the picture. “The duration can range from several hours to several months sometimes in accordance with the difficulties that I face while I am drawing, such as outage”.

Hassan in addition pointed out that hobby is an activity, while talent is a subjective ability and requires continuous diligence.

Picasso says “The inspiration can come, but you must work”.

Hassan went on to say: “I advise parents to pay attention to the talent of their children and it should not be neglected. Because the child has a wide imagination and drawing is one of the most important hobbies to consolidate the idea of creativity of the child. ..We can send our children to drawing school. They can also follow many drawing videos online. They should make a lot of attempts and practice and not focus on the failed attempts.

“I think that what is important is that the artist  has to be honest in his art and expresses what is going on around him intelligently and he has the freedom to choose the method of expressing,” he concluded.
