Syrian art museum will open in Germany soon

DAMASCUS, (ST)_The Cultural Taqla Institute in Germany will open a Syrian modern art museum in Bremen city to exhibit the works of Syrian artists. 
 
According to the Syrian Honorary Consul in Germany Shawkat Taqla, the museum will open in October and there will be a contest among the artists exhibiting their works. 
 
“7 artists out of 81 one, who applied to take part in the museum, were selected, and the first winner will be given 3.000  Euros as a prize while  each of the other 2 winners will be given €1000, “ added Taqla, who is the director of the institute.
 
The institute was established in 2017 with the aim of acquainting German society with Syrian culture.
