Syrian Army Units thwart terrorist attack in Idlib countryside, target terrorist headquarters in Lattakia countryside

Units of the Syrian Arab Army responded to a terrorist attack in the Idlib countryside and shot down suicide drones, and also targeted terrorist headquarters in Lattakia countryside.

The Ministry of Defense said in a statement today: Units of the Syrian Arab Army operating in the southern countryside of Idlib responded to an attack launched by terrorist organizations, inflicting heavy losses in their equipment and weapons and leaving dozens of terrorists dead or injured.
The Ministry added:  Units of the Syrian Arab Army working in the southern countryside of Idlib shot down and destroyed terrorist suicide drones through which the terrorists attempted to attack the army points and the surrounding safe villages and towns.
The Ministry added that units of army forces operating in the direction of the northern countryside of Lattakia, in cooperation with friendly Russian aircraft, targeted terrorist headquarters and fortifications, which led to their complete destruction and the killing and wounding of dozens, including leaders of the so-called terrorist “Turkistan Islamic Party.”
