Syrian army units retaliate against terrorists’ renewed attacks on military personnel and civilians in Daraa

DARAA, (ST)_Terrorist groups have renewed their attacks on residential areas and the Syrian army’s checkpoints in Daraa to hinder the efforts being exerted to reach a peaceful solution for restoring security and stability to the province of Daraa.

According to the Syrian News Agency (SANA), terrorist groups on Tuesday fired several mortar shells on districts in Daraa city, so the army units retaliated for this attack and  targeted the areas from which the shells were fired  in Daraa al-Balad area and al-Sad road.

On Monday, 4 soldiers were martyred and 15 others injured as terrorists targeted the army’s checkpoints in Daraa.

Another attack was carried out by terrorists on residential areas where a girl and her mother were wounded.
