Syrian army units repel massive attack by terrorists in Hama

HAMA,(ST)_Syrian army units have repelled a massive attack launched by terrorist groups at Zakat-Hasraya axis in the northern countryside of Hama and have inflicted heavy losses upon them .

A military source was quoted on the Syrian News Agency (SANA) as saying: “ Terrorist groups, holed up in the northern countryside of Hama, sent yesterday at 11:00 pm a huge number of armed gunmen and car bombs to launch an attack at Zakat-Hasraya axis, so the army units positioned there withdrew from some of their posts .”

The source stressed that the terrorists’ attack was repelled and the army units carried out a counter-attack and returned to their posts after inflicting a heavy toll of casualties on the terrorists.

The army units are pursuing the terrorists in the region.
