Syrian Army units enter the Daraa Al-Balad area

Daraa ,(ST) – Units of the Syrian Arab Army entered Daraa Al-Balad this morning, and the national flag was hoisted over the settlement center in the Al-Arbaeen neighborhood, within the framework of the settlement agreement proposed by the state. The settlement agreement stipulates settling the situation of the militants, handing over weapons to the army and expelling the terrorists.

 SANA war reporter in Daraa said that, army units entered the Daraa Al-Balad neighborhood and began installing a number of points in preparation for the start of searches and combing operations in the area in search of weapons and terrorist remnants of weapons, ammunition, explosive devices and tunnels.

Previously, deliveries of weapons and settling the situation of dozens of militants from Daraa Al-Balad were resumed within the framework of the implementation of the settlement agreement proposed by the state.

The Syrian state has been keen for several weeks to establish security and stability in Daraa governorate and to give priority to peaceful solutions in order to protect civilians and prevent their lives at risk.
