Syrian army tightens grip on terrorists in Jisr Eshugur city, pounds ISIS hideouts outside Sweida

PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army has obliterated several ISIS hideouts in the northeastern countryside of Sweida and has continued to strike terrorist groupings in eastern and northern countryside of Homs and in the eastern Hama countryside.

According to the official news agency (SANA), army units carried out today morning a qualitative operation against the ISIS hideouts in the Ashehib hill and al-Fedyen hills in the northeastern countryside of Sweida where many terrorists were killed and several vehicles belonging to them were destroyed.

Last night, army units destroyed a convoy of ISIS vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns in towns of Rajm al-Dawleh and al-Shomra in the northern Sweida countryside.

More terrorists linked to the al-Nusra Front were eliminated in al-Latamneh town in the northern countryside of Hama and near Nasib crossing in Daraa countryside as well as in al-Rastan area in the northern countryside of Homs.

Airstrikes on ISIS hideouts

While in the eastern Homs countryside, Syrian warplanes bombed ISIS hideouts in Bir Hawaya al-Shams, north of Palmyra, and in Wadi al-Sekkar, al-Namodajeyeh town and Jabal al-Dahek.

As for the ongoing battles in Idlib, the Beirut-based al-Mayadeen TV channel reported that city of Jisr Esh Shugur will military fall to Syrian army when it recaptures  al-Kfir town, east of the city.

It confirmed continuity of fierce fighting between Syrian army and armed terrorist organizations on the outskirts of the national hospital in Jisr Esh Shugur city.

“Syrian army cut off the gunmen’s supply routes after it ringed the city from the eastern and southern edges,” al-Mayadeen indicated, adding that the Syrian army regained control over Qarta and al-Sheikh Elias towns , east of the city, after it recaptured the strategic hills overlooking the two towns.

In another development, SANA confirmed continuity of military operations against terrorist organizations in Daraa and Quneitra.

The US, Israeli, Saudi, Qatari, French and Turkish intelligence agents run the Amman Military Operations Command (MOC) which gives order to terrorist organizations operating in Daraa and Quneitra countryside.
