Syrian army strikes terrorists supply routes in Aleppo and Idlib

PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army has struck terrorists’ supply routes outside Aleppo and Idlib, as intensified military operations against terrorist organizations have continued outside Daraa, Quneitra and Homs, according to the official news agency (SANA).

The agency reported today that an army unit eliminated many terrorists and destroyed several vehicles belonging to them in Khan Toman area in Jabal Sem’an  area [Mount Simeon] on the road leading to Turkey.

The same area [Jabal Sem’an], which lies north-west of Aleppo, witnessed yesterday strikes carried out by army units against terrorist hideouts in towns of Ma’arret al-Artiq and al-Mansoura.

There were also intensified strikes against terrorist organizations on the outskirts of al-Mallah farms in the northern countryside of Aleppo and on the road linking Idlib and Bennish town outside Idlib.

Scores of al-Nusra Front terrorists killed

A military source declared that scores of al-Nusra Front-linked terrorists, some of them were of foreign nationalities, were killed on Idlib-Bennish road.

It added that an army unit destroyed an armored car plus several vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns belonging to terrorists on Ma’arret Mesrin-Batinti road, about 30km north of Idlib city.

In the southern front, army units warded off an attack launched by terrorists affiliated to the al-Nusra Front on a military post on the outskirts of Rajm al-Mshor town and killed many terrorists in several areas in Daraa countryside and in towns of al-Briqa and Mas’hara in Quneitra countryside.   

Two ringleaders in the so-called the Ahrar al-Sham Movement plus a third ringleader in the so-called ‘al-Qa’aqa’a battalion’ were eliminated in the northern countryside of Lattakia two days ago.
