Syrian army secures the city of Aleppo from terrorist attacks

ALEPPO, (ST)_ The Syrian army has secured the city of Aleppo after liberating the towns and villages in the vicinity of the city.

According to the Syrian News Agency (SANA), the Syrian army carried out a series of precise operations against terrorist groups and liberated more than 29 areas.

The liberated areas are: the towns and villages of Maaret al-Artiq, Hretan, Andan, Hayyan, Byanoun, Babiss, Kafr Dael, al-Houta al-Juwaniya, al-Huta al-Barraniya, Bashantra, Jamiet al-Kahraba al-Thankiya, Jamiet al-Makhabez, Jamiet al-Ittihad al-Arabi, Hamiet al-Samah, Jamiet Azar, Majina, Beshqatin, Qalyun, and Jamiet al-Fanar, in addition to Jamiet al-Hadi, Jamiet Kilikia, Jamiet al-Muharibin al-Qudama, Kafr Hamra, al-Lairamoun, Dahret Abd Rabbou, the Justice Palace, Waed buildings, al-Nanaie building, and Shuwaihena northwest of Aleppo city.

Terrorist groups suffered heavy losses and they fled towards Dar Ezza and Afrin areas.

Upon hearing the news on securing Aleppo city, Aleppians took to the streets to celebrate this great victory which was achieved thanks to the sacrifices of the Syrian army.

In Idleb countryside, the army units liberated the villages of Kafer Dael, Tel Shweihna, and al-Halaqim area, in addition to establishing control over al-Rakaya village northwest of Khan Sheikhoun city.
