Syrian army scores direct hits on terror targets

PROVINCES,(ST)_Military sources have confirmed the death of many terrorists during today’s operations outside Hassaka, Idlib, Daraa, Sweida, Hama and Homs.

The sources said that army units killed and injured many terrorists linked to the ISIS [its Arabic acronym is Daesh] in al-Rqeyeh, al-Oja, Tal Shmeram, and al-Aghbesh in Hassaka countryside and on the outskirts of al-Shaer field in Homs countryside.

A convoy of ISIS cars was destroyed on Tal Abyad road, about 20km west of Hassaka city, and 6 terrorists died as army units destroyed a car equipped with heavy machinegun.

Further terrorists were eliminated in al-Hseneyeh, al-Bal’a, Bennesh and Taftinaz towns outside Idlib as well as in Daraa al-Balad, Inkhel, surrounding of al-Sheikh Meskin and Qerfeh and Athman towns in Daraa countryside.

Meanwhile, army units mowed down many terrorists near Dama town and destroyed a car equipped with 23mm-gun belonging to terrorists on Alali-Shomra road in the northwestern countryside of Sweida.

Other vehicles belonging to terrorists were wiped out in al-Dkeleh al-Shamaleyeh, Tbaret al-Debeh, Rasm al-Sied, al-Moazameyeh, Rasm al-Mer’ee, Jroh, al-Naemeh and Abdin towns in Hama countryside.

Over the past three days, Syrian army recaptured Abo Harat town in the northeastern countryside of Sweida and the al-Jazal oil field in Homs countryside and the Strategic Dwerin town in the northern countryside of Lattakia.

While on March 4, army units foiled terrorists ‘ infiltration bid into air intelligence headquarters in Aleppo city and repelled terrorist attack on al-Maleyeh square in the same city.

The terrorists tried to attack the al-Maleyeh square after they exploded a tunnel near the square.

Large numbers of terrorists were killed during the confrontations.
