The culture of resistance and the role of citizen in the war on terrorism were the main topics discussed during the forum held Monday by the Baath Arab Socialist party’s Hasaka branch.

The forum also dealt with the successive achievements of the Syrian Arab army against the foreign-backed terrorist organizations nationwide.

Hasaka Mufti Abdul Hamid al-Kandah said that every honest citizen must confront the terror attack that targets religion, pointing out the citizens’ support for the Syrian Arab army in fighting terrorism.

“The Syrian Arab army’s ideology is based on resistance, which was consolidated after March 8th Revolution, ” an officer in the army said during the forum, which was held in the presence of secretary and members of the BASP’s Hassaka branch plus several officers in the Syrian Arab army.

On July 8th, 2015, Syrian army units in cooperation with national defense forces recaptured the whole city of Hasaka after eliminating all ISIS terrorists, who infiltrated into the city on June 25th and wreaked havoc in it.
