Syrian Army’s Achievements to Pave Way for Complete Uprooting of Terrorism from Syria- Ex-Lebanese MP

BEIRUT, (ST)-Victories of the Syrian Arab Army in many areas countrywide will pave the way for complete uprooting of terrorism from Syria, former Lebanese Member of Parliament Emil Emil Lahhoud has stressed.

In a statement on Monday, Lahhoud said the Syrian army together with its allies in the resistance axis is facing all types of terrorist organizations, including al-Qaeda affiliated groups, and it offers martyrs to eliminate the terrorism which has being hitting Syria for almost five years.

 

The former Lebanese MP ridiculed the remarks made by the Saudi regime about military intervention in Syria, pointing out that the regime of Al Saud had better look for a means to get out from the Yemeni quagmire.

“If the Saudi regime wants to fight al-Qaeda terrorist organization it should do it at home first,” Lahhoud said.
