Syrian army retakes more buildings in Zabadani city, kills 7 terrorists in Lattakia countryside

PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army continues to advance in Zabadani city north-west of Damascus and has killed many terrorists in the northern countryside of Lattakia and in the southern and central region.

According to the official news agency (SANA), an army unit in cooperation with the Lebanese resistance [Hezbollah fighters] regained control over several buildings in Abo Ayyash villas in Zabadani city in Damascus countryside.

Today’s progress coincided with foiling an armed terrorist group’s infiltration bid into Tal al-Sheikh Husien area south of al-Tha’aleh airbase in the northern countryside of Sweida and destroying a hideout and vehicles belonging to the al-Nusra Front terrorists in Daraa al-Mahatta in Daraa province.

Add to that, army units destroyed a mortar emplacement belonging to ISIS terrorists in al-Tamathel town in Palmyra city and inflicted heavy losses upon ISIS terrorists in Palmyra triangle in the eastern countryside of Homs, according to a military source,

The source added that army units backed by warplanes destroyed vehicles equipped with machine-guns belonging to ISIS terrorists in Palmyra countryside.

Many ISIS terrorists were killed in the airstrikes.

Further terrorists were eliminated and an arms depot plus a car belonging to them was destroyed in Marj Khokha town in the northern countryside of Lattakia.  

A military source said that 7 terrorists were killed and 15 others wounded, most of them of foreign nationals, in the said town.

Last night, army units recaptured Foro town in the southwestern countryside of Idlib and killed many of al-Nusra Front terrorist there.

Sources told SANA that army units clashed with terrorists affiliated to the so-called the ‘al-Sham legion’ on Fora-Mansoura axis at administrative boundaries between Idlib and Hama.

The clashes ended with the death of many terrorists.
