Syrian army retakes more areas in Zabadani city, kills 40 terrorists from ‘Jaish al-Fateh’ in Hama

PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army has taken full control of more areas in Zabadani city north-west of Damascus and has killed over 40 terrorists affiliated to the so-called the ‘Jaish al-Fateh’ in Hama countryside.

According to the official news agency (SANA), army units in cooperation with the Lebanese resistance regained control over al-Ajjan square in the western edge of Zabadani city and killed scores of terrorists there.

While the Beirut-based al-Mayadeen TV channel reported that Syrian army and the Lebanese resistance recaptured the ‘al-Faroq’ Mosque area, MTN building and al-Kobra quarter in the city.

The fresh progress synchronized with  airstrikes staged by Syrian warplanes against terrorists organizations in the northwestern countryside of Idlib and in the northern countryside of Hama.

Many terrorists affiliated to the al-Nusra Front were killed in al-Zaka, al-Latamneh and Kafer Zetta towns in the northern countryside of Hama during the airstrikes, a military source confirmed, adding that an arms cache belonging to terrorist organizations was destroyed in Qaser Ben Wardan town, about 60 km east of Hama city.

More than 40 terrorists, including a field commander, affiliated to the so-called the ‘Jaish al-Fateh’ [The army of conquest] were eliminated in the eastern side of al-Ghab plain in Hama countryside.

700 terrorists killed during the ‘Great Earthquake battle’

The Damascus-based al-Watan newspaper put the death toll for the ‘Jaish al-Fateh’ terrorists and other allied groups during the ongoing operation called the ‘Great Earthquake battle’ in  al-Ghab plain at 700.

Elsewhere, Syrian warplanes bombed terrorist organizations in the northeastern countryside of Lattakia and in Homs countryside.
