Syrian army retakes a village from terrorists in Idleb, presses ahead with operations

IDLEB,(ST)_The Syrian army units recaptured Samkeh village in the southeastern countryside of Idleb after absorbing al-Nusra Front terrorists’ major attack, which was launched yesterday at Tih-Abo Jref-Samkeh axis.

According to the Syrian News Agency (SANA), the army units, positioned in Ma’arret al-Noaman countryside, redeployed and regathered towards Samkeh village and liberated it from terrorists one day after occupying it by al-Nusra Front.

The agency added that the army units pressed ahead with their operations at Tih-Abo Jref axis to liberate more areas from terrorists.

The army units, in addition, retaliated against the terrorists’ attack and targeted their hideouts in the towns of Khan al-Sabel, Mardabseh and Has in the same region, according to the Syrian Alikhbaria TV channel.

The TV channel added that the army units targeted terrorist groups on the road that links Ma’arret al-No’aman and Saraqeb .
