Syrian Army Resumes National Duty In Smashing Terrorism

Provinces,(ST)-On Wednesday, Units of the armed forces eliminated scores of terrorists in a number of areas in Idleb and Homs, destroying their hideouts and groupings.

A military source told a local media that the army smashed terrorists in the areas of Kifr Najd, Harsh Masibin, Hamimat al-Dayer, Sarja,Taftanaz, Binnesh, Maarazaf and Benin in Idleb countryside.

The source added that the army also destroyed vehicles equipped with  machineguns in the areas of Taftanaz, Binnesh, Sarja and south Tarmla, killing a number of terrorists, including those from Saudi Arabia, Morocco and Kuwait.

In Homs, the army units continued carrying out operations against the terrorist groups, killing a number of terrorists and destroying their dens in the areas of al-Hamidyeh, al-Wa’er and in al-Rastan city.

Other units attacked a terrorist group in the area of Jib al-Jarrah in Homs eastern countryside, causing heavy losses on them and destroying their weaponry .

On the other hand, citizens are still falling victims of the terrorists’ criminal actions all over the country.

A terrorist car bomb took place on al-Kisweh-al-Herjalleh road in Damascus Countryside, resulting in injuring 6 civilians, including a child and three women, two of them are in critical situation.

Great material damage was caused to a number of passing cars, according to a source at Damascus Police Command.

Terrorists attacked a number of families who were accompanying their sons intending to surrender themselves to the authorities near the entrance of Beit Sahm in Damascus Countryside.

The terrorists opened fire on the families, claiming the lives of three citizens including one child, and wounded 21 more, some of whom were women and children.
