Syrian army repels terrorist groups’ attack on strategic towns in Idleb, kills dozens of terrorists

IDLEB,(ST)_The Syrian army units, which are positioned in the liberated areas in Ma’arret al-No’aman region, have repelled terrorist groups’ attack on military positions in al-Teh and Jerjnaz towns in the southeastern countryside of Idleb.

According to the Syrian News Agency (SANA), a huge number of terrorists took advantage of the weather and fog to carry out attack on the army positions on the outskirts of al-Teh and Jerjnaz towns, which were liberated by Syrian army last week, where a fierce fighting erupted between the army units and the attackers and it ended with killing dozens of terrorists.

The army units destroyed two car bombs and scores of vehicles plus rocket launchers and heavy machine guns used by the terrorists during their attack.

Add to that, the army units struck terrorist groups’ supply routes in the region and inflicted heavy losses upon them.

Yesterday, Syrian army units uncovered a network of tunnels and trenches in the southern countryside of Idleb.
