Syrian army recaptures towns and cordons off others in Daraa

PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army has cut off terrorists’ supply routes from Jordan towards Badia and the eastern Ghouta of Damascus , according to a statement released today by the General Command of the Army and Armed Forces.

The statement said that army units recaptured towns of Msekeh al-Sharqeyeh and al-Gharbeyeh, Rasm al-Khawabi, Ishnan al -Dlaseh and cordoned off Malihet al-Atash and Bosra al-Harir towns during a qualitative operation in the northeastern countryside of Daraa.

Large numbers of terrorists were eliminated during the operation, the statement confirmed, clarifying that the fresh achievement means that the terrorists’ supply routes from Jordan- through al-Lajat gate- towards Badia and the Eastern Ghouta in Damascus countryside has been cut off.  

“The fresh achievement also reopens the main road between Daraa and Sweida provinces and it is a knock-down blow to the Takfiri organizations,” the statement added, affirming continuity of military operations nationwide and readiness to uproot terrorism.

The same province [Daraa] witnessed military operations against the al-Nusra Front and the allied terrorist groups in Skaka, Nahta and al-Kark al-Sharqi towns north-east of Daraa city.

The US, Israeli, Saudi, Qatari, French and Turkish intelligence agents run the Amman Military Operations Center (MOC) which gives order to terrorist organizations operating in Daraa and Quneitra countryside.

Scores of ISIS terrorists killed

Moving towards the central region, army units killed scores of ISIS terrorists in a al-Habra al-Gharbeyeh, Rajm al-Ali, Rajm al-Qaser, Em al-Rish, Mas’ada towns  in the eastern countryside of Homs.

More terrorists affiliated to the al-Nusra Front were eliminated in al-Rastan area, which lies 20km north of Homs.

Add to that, army units clashed with al-Nusra Front terrorists that tried to attack a military point in Khan al-Shieh town in the southwestern countryside of Damascus.

Many terrorist were killed and injured in the clashes, a military source said, indicating that army units destroyed a canon belonging to al-Nusra Front in al-Hseneyeh farms in the same town and killed many terrorists, most of them were of foreign nationalities.

Over the past month, Khan al-Shieh town, which includes a Palestinian Refugees camp, has exposed to repeated attacks carried out by terrorist organizations in coordination with the Israeli enemy.
