Syrian army recaptures strategic area in Idlib, kills Turkish terrorists in Lattakia countryside
PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army has regained control over a strategic area in Idlib countryside and has eliminated Turkish terrorists in the northern countryside of Lattakia, according to military sources.
A military source was quoted today on the official news agency (SANA) as citing that army units fully controlled the Strategic Tal A’awar area in the southwestern countryside of Idlib in the wake of intensified operations ended with the death of scores of terrorists affiliated to the so-called the ‘Jaish al-Fateh’.
Tal A’awar area is located 2 km far away from Maej al-Zohor town over which army units regained control last night. It will be a launchpad to achieve more victories in the rural area linking Idlib and Hama.
Over the past 48 hours, army units achieved successive victories against terrorist organizations and recaptured the Zaizon thermal station and towns of al-Zyadeyeh, Zaizon and Marj al-Zohor in the area located between Idlib and Hama.
Scores of terrorists, including the military leader of the so-called the ‘Ajnad al-Sham’, were killed and injured in the said areas.
Further terrorists, some of them were Turkish, were eliminated as Syrian warplanes bombed hideouts of al-Nusra Front and the allied terrorist organizations in towns of Beit Abliq, Beit Awan and al-Derra in the northern countryside of Lattakia.
20 terrorists killed
A military source declared that 20 terrorists, including the Turkish Mohammad Borik plus leader of a terrorist group –dubbed Saqer al-Sahel- were killed and a car loaded with munitions was destroyed in the airstrikes.
Moving towards the southern front, an army unit clashed with al-Nusra Front terrorists south of Kherbet Ghazaleh town in the northeastern countryside of Daraa and killed many terrorists in Jabbata al-Khashab town in Quneitra countryside.
Many terrorists were killed and injured there.
The US, Israeli, Saudi, Qatari, French and Turkish intelligence agents run the Amman Military Operations Center (MOC) which gives order to terrorist organizations operating in Daraa and Quneitra countryside.
While in the central region, army units destroyed hideouts and armored vehicles belonging to ISIS terrorists on the outskirts of Palmyra.
In another development, the Beirut-based al-Mayadeen TV channel reported that Syrian army and the Lebanese resistance regained control over al-Hekmeh quarter east of al-Zabadani city in Damascus countryside.
It added that army units foiled the 4th attack launched by the so-called the ‘Noureddin al-Zerki’ Movement on the Family House buildings west of Aleppo city and killed dozens of terrorists.
The area of the family house buildings is important because it leads to Darret Ezzeh and Kafer Dael areas as well as to Idlib countryside through Aleppo-Damascus international highway.
Separately, SANA said that the competent authorities regularized situations of 107 citizens from al-Qalaomun area in Damascus countryside within the efforts being exerted to implement national reconciliation process in the region.
