PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army has paralyzed ISIS terrorists’ movements in the southern edge of Ghwiran quarter in Hasaka city and has killed 8 terrorists in Daraa countryside, the official news agency (SANA) reported Wednesday.
The agency quoted sources as saying that army units and national forces carried out intensified qualitative operations overnight and today at dawn against ISIS outposts and forced ISIS terrorists to withdraw and to hide in two buildings in the southeastern edge of Ghwiran quarter in Hasaka city.
The sources added that the forces positioned in an area linking al-Sakan al-Shababi and Ghwiran quarter paralyzed ISIS terrorists’ movement after killing large numbers of terrorists as they were moving among buildings.
“Several ISIS snipers, including foreign mercenaries, were mowed down in quarter of Ghwiran,” the sources said, indicating that forces are advancing on axis of the eastern al-Nashweh quarter.
Add to that, national forces defused dozens of explosive devices, which were planted by ISIS terrorists among homes in the western al-Nashweh quarter and destroyed a car bomb coming from al-Maarouf town in Hasaka countryside.
8 terrorists killed
In another development, army units killed 8 terrorists, including a Saudi, in Ibta’a town and targeted al-Nusra Front supply routes in al-Hamedeyeh town and Abo Shabta site in the northeastern countryside of Quneitra.
The US, Israeli, Saudi, Qatari, French and Turkish intelligence agents run the Amman Military Operations Center (MOC) which gives order to terrorist organizations operating in Daraa and Quneitra countryside.
In the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus, army units killed over 16 terrorists affiliated to the Jaish al-Islam and destroyed two vehicles belonging to them.
Concerning the recent developments in Zabadani battle, SANA said that an army unit destroyed a 70-meter tunnel linking Zabadani plain to Madaya village.
The tunnel had been used by terrorist organizations to infiltrate into the plain and to convey supplies.
Zabadani is located on the southern end of Qalamoun, about 50 kilometers northwest of Damascus and 12 kilometers northeast of Lebanon’s Masnaa border crossing.
Moving towards the central region, army units killed many ISIS terrorists in the eastern countryside of Homs and in the western edge of Palmyra.
There were also fresh operations against terrorist organizations in Aleppo and in Idlib countryside, according to SANA.
