Syrian army makes major advance on northern Aleppo countryside

PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army has made major advance on the northern countryside of Aleppo, as it has destroyed terrorists supply routes in Daraa countryside, according to military sources.

The major advance manifested in recapturing Der al-Zaiton, Kafrtona, Bashkwa, Tal Msibin, Harditin and Ratyan areas in the northern countryside of Aleppo where scores of terrorists were killed and injured and many of their hideouts were pounded.

Syrian army recaptured the said areas in cooperation with popular defense groups during a qualitative operation launched yesterday, a military source told the official news agency (SANA).

The agency added that army units regained control of several buildings in Jameyet al-Zahraa area west of Aleppo city and killed many terrorists there.

Syrian’s army recapture of the five areas paves the way to break the siege imposed by terrorists on Nubl and al-Zahraa towns and makes Byanon town under army’s’ fire.   

However, the operations inside Aleppo city aims to encircle terrorist organizations that daily attack civilians in Aleppo city.

Turkish border is the main supply route for terrorists in Aleppo and its countryside.

Terrorist concentration points destroyed

Moving towards the south of the county, army units intensified strikes on terrorist hideouts on Athman-Daeel-Tafas-Mzereb axis where terrorist concentration points were destroyed.

The terrorists’ concentration points are linked with supply routes into Jordanian territories where military operations center run by Israeli, Qatar, Saudi, Jordanian, US, French and Turkish intelligence bodies give orders to terrorists operating in the southern front.

The terrorist organizations in Aqraba and Kafr Nasej towns that lie north-west Daraa were received knockout blows by army units amid continuity of operations against terrorist organizations outside Quneitra and Damascus, according to SANA.

Qualitative operations 

The agency quoted today a military source as saying that army units carried out qualitative operations in Streets of al-Zohor, al-Villat and al-Sa’eed and in Khan al-Sheih farms as well as in Ein al-Bistan town in the southwestern countryside of Damascus.

The operations resulted in the death of many terrorists including Palestinian, Yemini, Libyan and Saudi ones.

There were also other operations against terrorist hideouts in Jabal Sis in the southeastern countyside of Damascus.

Jabal Sis is part of Jabal Horan al-Lajat where mercenaries, infiltrated from Jordanian border with support of Al-Thani and Al-Saud regimes, spread.

Terrorist organizations declared through social media that they were inflicted heavy losses in the eastern Qalamoun area.

Elsewhere, army units eliminated many terrorists in the eastern countryside of Hama and in the eastern countryside of Homs as well as in the northern countryside of Lattakia.

Two days ago, army units started concentrated operations against terrorist organizations in Abo Duhur area in the eastern countryside of Idlib where terrorists linked to the al-Nusra Front and the ‘Ahrar al-Sham’ Movement spread.

Abo Duhur area has witnessed remarkable reduction of the spread of terrorist organizations following the death of large numbers of their members and leaders.

The terrorist organizations in Abo Duhur area failed to approach concentration points of airbase’s protection units.
