Syrian army makes fresh progress in Hassaka, wards off al-Nusra Front’s attacks on military posts in Hama

PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army has regained control over al-Sholeh town and the eastern slopes on Jabal Abdulaziz in Hassaka countryside and has foiled terrorist organizations’ infiltration bids into military posts in northern Hama countryside, the official news agency (SANA) reported Tuesday.

The agency confirmed that army units in cooperation with popular defense groups recaptured the eastern slopes of Jabal Abdulaziz and the center of solid waste treatment  in the northwestern countryside of Hassaka about half an hour after it reported that  al-Sholeh town in the western countryside of Hassaka was recaptured by them.

The fresh progress in Hassaka countryside synchronized with warding off terrorist organizations’ infiltration bids into military posts in al-Zlaqeyat, Zlin and Abo Ebidat areas in the northern Hama countryside.

Large numbers of terrorist were eliminated during the infiltration bids, a military source said, adding that several vehicles belonging to terrorists were also destroyed.

Airstrikes

More terrorists were killed and injured when Syrian warplanes bombed terrorist groupings east of the Industrial city and on the outskirts of the Air Forces Academy in Aleppo countryside.

The same province [Aleppo] witnessed military operations against terrorist outposts in quarters of Bab al-Hadid, Jameyet al-Zahraa, al-Ansar, Jesr al-Haj and the old city of Aleppo where many terrorists affiliated to the al-Nusra Front and other allied organizations were killed.

In Homs province, Syrian warplanes targeted ISIS groupings on the outskirts of Ark field and destroyed 4 cars belonging to them outside the 3rd station in Palmyra countryside.

More 3vehicles carrying  terrorists affiliated to the al-Nusra Front were destroyed on Qminas-Mastomeh road in Idlib countryside, which saw concentrated airstrikes against the groupings of terrorists who infiltrated into al-Mastomeh camp.
