Syrian army launches wide-scale operations in Idlib, destroys weapons-laden car in Der Ezzour

PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army has launched wide-scale operations against al-Nusra Front in Idlib and has killed many ISIS terrorists in Der Ezzour and Homs, military sources said Tuesday.

The sources said that an army unit started wide-scale operations against the Takfiri terrorist organizations in Bennesh, Saraqeb, Tal Salmo and al-Hamedeyeh towns the eastern and northeastern countryside of Idlib city.

Several vehicles were destroyed and scores of terrorists were killed in the operations, which synchronized with successful operations carried out by other army units against al-Nusra Front terrorists in Idlib city.

There were also intensified operations against terrorist organizations in Jesr al-Shogour area and al-Hbit town in the southwestern countryside of Idlib city and in Ariha countryside in the same province [Idlib].

Many terrorists were killed and injured there.

Operations in Hama countryside

The same terror organization [al-Nusra Front] was inflicted heavy losses in Hama countryside as army units targeted their hideouts and vehicles in the northwestern countryside of the province and in Salameyeh countryside.

Last night, terrorists fired two rockets on Salameyeh city, killing at least 7 persons and wounding dozens more.

In another development, army units targeted a weapons-laden car belonging to the ISIS terrorists near Al-Seyaseh bridge, which links Hatla and al-Hweqa towns at the northern entry of Der Ezzour city.

“The car was completely destroyed and 5 terrorists died,” a military source confirmed.

In the same province, the so-called ‘al-Hesbeh Emir’ in the ISIS [Its Arabic acronym is Daesh], was killed in al-Saleheyeh town , according to media sources.

Further terrorists affiliated to the same terror organization [ISIS or ISIL] were eliminated on the outskirts of al-Shaer wells and east of Jazel well in the eastern countryside of Homs.

Moving towards the south of the country, army units killed many of al-Nusra-Front terrorists in Em al-Mayathen, Inkhel and Semlin towns outside Daraa.
